Background
The demand for online groceries has dramatically increased due to the fact of the COVID pandemic. Yami, an e-commerce sales Asian snacks & beauty products, developed their online grocery service, Yami Fresh, during the COVID pandemic, which delivers fresh produces from the local Asian supermarkets. However, with the competition of various online grocery services, how might we help Yami Fresh improve its existing app experience so to attract more users?

To better understand the current shopping habits and gaps for online grocery shopping and Asian supermarkets shopping, I conducted a user survey on 22 people. Based on the results, I defined existing problems people have when shopping in an Asian supermarkets and also concluded with 3 types of shoppers.

Usability Test
I tested with three participants using Yami Fresh to find out the pain points. While there are many issues this app can be improved, I decided to focus on the very first section, which is browsing and shopping since it's the first thing users see.

1. A clearer and organized products list to better assist users to find certain types of products.
2. A filter function that helps users to selection curtain types of products.
3. A landing page that introduce the significant features of Yami Fresh and clarify user's concern.
